Gov. Henry McMaster Suspends Allendale Town Councilman Earl Morell

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Immediately following the indictment of Allendale Town Councilman Earl Morell, Governor Henry McMaster issued Executive Order 2022-32, suspending Morell from office.

Morell is suspended until such a time as he is formally acquitted, convicted, or until a duly elected successor is qualified and takes the oath of office.
