NALL ANNOUNCES NEW COMMISSIONER
The North American Lacrosse League announced today the appointment of Anthony R. Caruso as Acting Commissioner. He will replace Phil Evans, who was terminated by the League Board of Governors earlier this month.
Caruso currently serves as League Counsel, and will continue that role while he assumes the top post for the league. A prominent sports and entertainment attorney, Caruso hails from the Jersey Shore and has appeared on FOX, MSNBC, and NBC networks. He is the former counsel to the National Lacrosse League, and also has served as an assistant counsel to a New Jersey Governor.
“We look forward to Anthony Caruso’s leadership. With only a few days on the job, he has proven to be effective in moving this league forward,” said Brett Vickers, owner of the Jacksonville Bullies. Vickers, on behalf of the league board of governors, also extended his wishes for future success to Phil Evans.
