Governor Cooper Appoints District Attorney for Cabarrus County

Governor Roy Cooper has appointed Ashlie P. Shanley to serve as district attorney in Prosecutorial District 25 (Cabarrus County). She will replace District Attorney Roxann L. Vaneekhoven, who is retiring at the end of August. Shanley currently serves as chief assistant district attorney in Cabarrus County.
