Fresh Program Update

Intern Site Visit

Inovative Agro Industries

Monday 28th of March 2022, saw the Fresh Program had its first site visit to the Innovative Agro Industry farms. The Fresh Program Interns ventured into the outskirts of Port Moresby to observe and learn the production processes of the 9 Mile Vegetable Farm and Ilimo Dairy Farm.The Interns kicked off the day by first visiting the 9 Mile vegetable farm which has a growing variety of vegetables. The interns were
privileged to enter a number of Green Houses and were able to see what a commercial agricultural farm was like.

First Sir Mel Togolo Event

Our first Sir Melchior Togolo Event was hosted on the 17th of March, 2022 under our prestigious internship program The Fresh Program! Attended by over 80+ students and friends of BCPNG, the event is designed to foster dialogue between students, prominent business leaders, and also potential employers through a mentorship arrangement that hosts talks
on-campus.

ExonMobil and PNG Sign P’nyang Gas Agreement

Earlier this year, the P’nyang Gas Agreement for the proposed development P’nyang LNG Project to be operated by ExxonMobil was signed by ExxonMobil and the Independent State of PNG. The agreement provides a clear framework for the project’s future development and will link new upstream facilities in Western Province.
