SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On May 28, 2022 at approximately 2127 hours, Troopers from the Williston Barracks responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Westford Milton Road near the intersection of Old Stage Road in the Town of Westford. Upon arriving on scene, Troopers located a box truck that had gone off of the roadway and was stuck in a ditch. The operator of the vehicle was present on scene and identified as Rickey Bushey (58) of Winooski, VT. While speaking with Bushey, Troopers detected several signs of impairment. Bushey was screened for DUI and subsequently placed under arrest. Bushey was transported to the Williston Barracks for processing and later released on citation to appear at the Chittenden County Superior Court-Criminal Division at a later date to answer to the charges of DUI #1 and Negligent Operation.
