A new kind of marriage counseling: Self Image Therapy.
/EINPresswire.com/ America must wake up to the trophy self image (the 'I am the best', the phony over confident self image), the chief divorce factor. Taking the steps and getting rid of one's trophy self image will transform all life to eternal bliss and the spouse relationships will become super mature. Even the relationship with the children will become magical; in fact the relationship with all life will prosper.
"The current marriage counseling is like dropping fresh water into a glass that has dirty water. The new key to marriage counseling is to learn to remove the self image and let the true self emerge".
The 4th R Foundation reports:
The chief marriage success factor is dependent on the spouses' emotional levels. When an emotionally premature mind/self image falls for a premature mind/self image then the marriage is headed for a straight divorce. But many times it does not happen like that. As premature minds manifest themselves as criminals they amass a fortune and so keep their spouse in comfort and luxury. The luxury factor shapes their relationship and it is the glue to their marriage. Many of the trophy wives are in this relationship.
Immature minds marry for financial gains. When the marriage is no longer beneficial the immature mind moves on for a more lucrative union.
In America the majority of marriages take place between mature minds. Mature minds manifest themselves as trophy self images. For most Americans it is a case of a self image falling for a self image. Each considers their own self as +2 super mature while in reality they are just +1 mature. Thus each gives to the marriage +1 but expects +2 in return.
In many families the marriage is saved only because one of the spouses is +2 super mature who absorbs the +1 behavior and gives back a +2 response.
Those who get divorced not only suffer economically and emotionally they even cause permanent emotional scars on their children. Some by divorcing go from the frying pan into the fire while most go from one frying pan into another frying pan; as the self image guided life struggles start all over again.
Marriage for the trophy self is a huge trophy event. Two trophy hearts falling in love; committing themselves to eternal love. For a while the newlyweds have a long period of trophy time. As time passes the initial romance wears off and life changes from a trophy life to a game of waiting for trophy time to trophy time with long periods of unhappiness and bitterness in the spousal relationship.
In most divorces nothing changes except the emotional and financial losses for the whole family. Nothing changes because the same self image once again gives to the new relationship less and expects more.
Thus in the majority of marriages the trophy self is the chief divorce factor. It is the trophy self image that makes marriages as well as all life an emotional struggle.
So before hoping from one frying pan into another frying pan at great emotional and financial loss it is better to examine if the villain is the trophy self image. By getting rid of the trophy self image one will also get rid of life's frustration factor. As the divorce factor and the life frustration factor are both the same entity - the trophy self image.
Life is divine when one is +2 super mature. Marriage is divine when two +2 super mature selves unite in matrimony. So to make all life divine one must know, understand and create the divine life factor in one's self by getting rid of the trophy self image and becoming one's true self.
It is very important that marriage counseling expose the couple to the fundamental culprit - the trophy self image, the culprit that gives less to the relationship and feels that it gives much more. Thus expecting more in return from one's partner. When both trophy self images give less and expect more then the result is the strained relationship which often results in divorce. They must both be made to understand the true nature of their real self and how even the worst relationships can be made to flower if they both become their true selves.
Sajid Ali Khan, the president of the 4th R foundation says, "Thus marriage counseling should also include self image therapy. The biggest wake up call in all this is to make sure that the cycle of creating a trophy self image in the future generations has to stop."
