Wismer Road to Close Next Week for Pipe Replacement in Plumstead Township

King of Prussia, PA – Wismer Road motorists will encounter a road closure between Stump Road and Point Pleasant Pike in Plumstead Township, Bucks County, on Monday, May 2, through Friday, May 6, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for pipe replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During the closure, Wismer Road motorists will be directed to use Stump Road, Route 413 (Durham Road), and Point Pleasant Pike. Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com or downloading the 511PA mobile application. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
