Miranshah (Dawn.com): The highly resented US drone once again kills 4 in North Waziristan. The Pakistan security officials state that 4 militants were killed and numerous injured in the fresh attack launched through US drones. According to the official reports those who were in killed in the attack were foreigners. Pakistan military, according to Reuters, use the jargon “foreigners’ for members of Al-Qaeda.
No action will be taken against Musharraf under Article 6 of the constitution - PML-Q
Islamabad (Dawn.com): The Pakistan Muslim League (Q) Secretary General Mushahid Hussain pointed out that Musharraf’s travel abroad was a part of the deal and he would not be returning to Pakistan in near future, he also said that no action will be taken against him under article 6 of the constitution. He said, that the deal was worked out with the mediation of International players.
While Mushahid Hussain presented his point of view on Musharraf’s trial, the former President, in an interview told a private TV channel that Saudi Arabia has promised to mediate and would convince the PML-N leader, Mr. Nawaz Sharif for not pressing for Musharraf’s trial under Article 6. Saudi Arabia has not confirmed such intervention in Pakistani Politics.

Islamabad (Business Recorder): PML-N leader, Ishaq Dar, who was present in the meeting of the Saudi King Shah Abdullah with the PML-N chief, Nawaz Sharif in Saudi Arabia, a day earlier, said that the Saudi King discussed regional issues with the PML-N chief but Pervaiz Musharraf and his trial under article 6 were not discussed neither did Saudi King put forward any demands in this connection.

Mixed trends were witnessed during the last weeks trading session as the local investors preferred to en-cash their holding and preferred to sell to take early profits. The market swayed between 9,151.55 the highest to close with a small gain of 56.09 to stand at 9,058.77.
Pakistan Railway Ministry approves Indian proposal of South Asian Train service
Islamabad (Dawn.com): The Pakistan Railway ministry has principally approved the Indian Proposal of launching a South Asian Train Service that would link Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. The proposal has been forwarded to Ministry of foreign affairs and Commerce Ministry for evaluation. The sources at the ministry said, ‘Experts have acknowledged potential of the South Asian route and they see it more easy to operate.’
