​4 PM Update: Both directions of Route 220 between the intersection of Route 220 and Route 405 in Hughesville Borough, Lycoming County and Route 42 in Beech Glen in Sullivan County are now open.

2:45 PM Update: Route 220 southbound is now open between the intersection of Route 220 and Route 405 in Hughesville Borough, Lycoming County and Route 42 in Beech Glen in Sullivan County.

Northbound remains closed at this time. The original release is below for reference.

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Route 220 is closed in both directions between the intersection of Route 220 and Route 405 in Hughesville Borough, Lycoming County and Route 42 in Beech Glen in Sullivan County, due to a tractor trailer crash.

A detour using Route 118 and Route 42 is in place. The roadway is expected to be closed for several hours. Motorists should expect delays in travel.
