DORAL, FLORIDA, UNITED STATES, February 16, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The award-winning Miami Media School, recognized as a 2021 School of the Year by FAPSC – Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges, continues to shine as a school of excellence as student entries into the National Telly Awards competition bring home 1 gold and 5 silver statues to the Doral Campus. Miami Media School, one of the 7 campuses of the Beonair Network of Media Schools, provides hands on training and real-time internship opportunities that best prepare our students to compete against their peers from across the country and around the globe for these coveted Telly awards. This year marked our 5th year of competition; each year with award winners in short video and commercial production.

The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks and production companies which include Netflix, Dow Jones, Duplass Brothers Productions, Complex Networks, A&E Network, Hearst Media Services, Nickolodeon Network and ESPN Films, among others.

According to Janet Garcia, Campus Director of Miami Media School, “The Telly Awards are a great motivator for students seeking excellence in film and video production. This award singles out the best of the best and showcases the many skills acquired in our media programs. “

CEO Nancy Rodriguez encourages these competitions for our students so that they have the chance to be recognized early on in their careers. “Competition on a national platform provides a great foundation for student success. Presenting the work created by our students not only paves the way for future employment but also provides excellent networking which is so crucial in today’s employment landscape.”

With more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents, winning a Telly Award is quite an honor. Please join us in congratulating our students who were this year’s award recipients. Current students are already preparing for the 2022 competition, with the goal of bringing home the gold!
