Continuaton of working trip in Bobojon Gafurov district

TAJIKISTAN, February 9 - The Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, on February 9, as part of his working trip to Bobojon Gafurov district of the Sughd region, took part in the laying of an intensive apricot orchard and the commissioning of an irrigation line at the State Institution "Boghi millii Vahdat" (Unity National Garden).

At this site, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, first put into operation an irrigation line that runs from a depth of 40 meters and is designed to irrigate 20 hectares of land.

The initiative to build a 90-meter vertical well belongs to the garden administration.

Then the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, planted apricot seedlings and laid the foundation for an intensive garden.

The laying of an intensive apricot orchard was carried out on the basis of instructions of the Head of State at the initiative of the administration of the State Institution "Boghi millii Vahdat".

In the State Institution "Boghi millii Vahdat" of Bobojon of Gafurov district, President visited the festival-exhibition of thoroughbred animals, cattle and camels for the production of milk and meat, horses, breeding sheep and goats.

Dairy farms, poultry farms and other economic entities of the livestock industry presented various types of livestock at the exhibition.

Dozens of species of cattle, sheep and goats, horses, camels, ostriches, partridges, turkeys, pheasants, fish, mixed animal feed, which are bred in all 18 cities and districts of the Sughd region, have been brought to this area.

The festival-exhibition presents cattle of black, Holstein, Simmental, Swedish, Hisor (Gissar) breeds, Tajik wool goats, dairy goats of Saanen and Alpine breeds, one-humped and two-humped camels, various types of trout, silver carp, grass carp and others.

The exhibition testifies to the sustainable development of an important area of agriculture - animal husbandry in the Sughd region. As a result of the practical implementation of individual strategies, the development of animal husbandry in the region will be gradually ensured.

In the course of getting familiar with the achievements of livestock breeders, poultry farmers and other producers of cities and districts of the Sughd region, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon commended the work of farmers as an outstanding example of the implementation of state measures and programs in the field of livestock development, gave specific instructions to responsible persons at the republican and regional levels to develop this profitable sector.
