PENNSYLVANIA, February 11 - shall contain a provision that if:

(i) the entire athletic season is canceled by the board of

school directors or the superintendent, there shall be no

payment under the contract; and

(ii) a portion of the athletic season is canceled by the

board of school directors or the superintendent, there shall be

payment under the contract only on a pro rata basis for that

portion of the athletic season for which services were provided

prior to the effective date of the declaration or of the action

by the board of school directors or superintendent to cancel a

portion of the athletic season, whichever occurs first.

(2) A contract entered into between a board of school

directors and a teacher, professional employe or other

individual for the provision of services as a leader or advisor

of an organization, club, society or group of the members of any

class or school, that is not part of classroom instruction,

shall contain a provision that if:

(i) the organization, club, society or group of the members

of any class or school, that is not part of classroom

instruction, is canceled during the entire school year by the

board of school directors or the superintendent, there shall be

no payment under the contract; and

(ii) the organization, club, society or group of the members

of any class or school, that is not part of classroom

instruction, is canceled for a portion of the school year by the

board of school directors or the superintendent, there shall be

payment under the contract only on a pro rata basis for that

portion of the school year for which services were provided

prior to the effective date of the declaration or of the action

by the board of school directors or superintendent to cancel the
