AN ACT

Amending Title 51 (Military Affairs) of the Pennsylvania

Consolidated Statutes, in veterans' pensions and benefits,

further providing for amputee and paralyzed veteran's

pension.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1. Section 7702 of Title 51 of the Pennsylvania

Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:

§ 7702. Amputee and paralyzed veteran's pension.

(a.1) Additional eligibility.--

(1) An amputee or paralyzed veteran who received a

determination of disability from the United States Department

of Veterans Affairs with an effective date prior to October

22, 2014, and was eligible to be paid a pension prior to

October 22, 2014, shall continue to be eligible for 90 days

after the effective date of this subsection. The amputee or

paralyzed veteran may apply under subsection (a) to the
