AN ACT

Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania

Consolidated Statutes, in lobbying disclosure, providing for

ethics training and further providing for administration.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1. Title 65 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:

§ 13A05.1. Ethics training.

Each lobbyist shall annually complete at least one hour of

ethics training developed and managed by the department , in

consultation with the commission, under section 13A08(l)

(relating to administration). A lobbyist may participate in the

ethics training required under this section in person or

remotely via video conferencing or other similar technology. The

commission shall compile and maintain a record of each lobbyist

who completes the ethics training required under this section. A

lobbyist subject to this section shall be subject to the same

penalties imposed under section 13A09(c) (relating to
