SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 09/12/2021 at 2126 Hours the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on VT Route 74E in the Town of Shoreham after observing a motor vehicle violation. Troopers identified the operator as Juan Camey Llamas (47) of Cornwall, VT.

While speaking with Llamas, Troopers detected signs of impairment. Llamas was screened for DUI and subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.

Llamas was transported to the New Haven Barracks for processing and later released with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later date.

Troopers were assisted on scene by members of the Middlebury Police Department.
