Commissioner Harold Gray Elected President of OPSI

On October 8, 2020, Delaware Public Service Commissioner Harold Gray was elected President of the Organization of PJM States, Inc (OPSI). OPSI is an inter-governmental organization of utility regulatory agencies of 14 jurisdictions listed in the table below. These 14 jurisdictions are wholly or partly in the service area of PJM, a regional transmission operator (RTO) approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). PJM operates the high-voltage electric transmission grid and wholesale electricity market within its service area. Commissioner Gray stated that “It’s an honor and a privilege to become OPSI President with the support and trust of my colleagues. OPSI’s challenges and complexities within the PJM region are dynamic and constantly emerging. I look forward to working with all members, staff, and stakeholders, to bring balanced solutions, as well as value for the PJM region”.
