Memorial Day ceremonies at State VA Cemeteries
5.3.21 UPDATE: Masks will not be required as long as social distancing is maintained. Please note, in order to aid in social distancing, no seating will be provided.
The state VA cemeteries will be conducting an abbreviated Memorial Day ceremony at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 31. There will be an opportunity during the ceremony for those service organizations to place a wreath provided by that organization. The ceremony will be available on Facebook for those families who were not able to attend due to the restrictions.
We fully recognize that this is not our typical Memorial Day ceremony, but our goal is to provide a ceremony that will honor our fallen veterans attended by more people than last year and still keep everyone safe. We look forward to getting back to normal operations and ceremonies in the future. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
