Lane Closure on Interstate 80 WB in Columbia County

​Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of a lane closure on Interstate 80 westbound between mile marker 232 (Buckhorn / Route 42 interchange) and mile marker 236 (Bloomsburg / Route 487 interchange) in Columbia County, due to a Tractor Trailer fire.

Motorists can expect the right (driving) lane to be closed. The lane is expected to be closed for several hours. Motorists should expect delays in travel.

Motorists should slow down, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution.

Work on this project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, and relevant training.
