Changes to the Interstate 80 Upcoming Ramp Closure Schedule
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing changes to the previously released ramp closure schedule as part of the resurfacing project for Interstate 80 in Clarion County.
Contractor, IA Construction Corporation of Franklin, PA will be closing and detouring ramps for the Interstate 80 resurfacing work from 6:00 p.m. Friday through 6:00 a.m. Monday. Detour routes will be established with signage for each individual ramp as they are closed. This work began May 7 and will continue through July 5.
IA Construction Corporation will be closing Exit 62 Clarion Eastbound on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021.
Additional ramp closures will be released on a weekly basis going forward. These closures will be weather permitting.
Work on this project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, and relevant training.
