Pithole Road Bridge in Venango County Reopened
The bridge that carries Pithole Road (Route 1006) over Pithole Creek in Allegheny Township, Venango County is reopened.
The bridge was closed in late 2018 after damage to the structure was discovered. Repairs to the bridge were completed by PennDOT employees with the Venango County facility. PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers.
