TCEQ approves fines totaling $475,781
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $461,788 against 31 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.
Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: eight air quality, one Edwards Aquifer, one multimedia, one municipal solid waste, one municipal wastewater discharge, one petroleum storage tank, 10 public water system, one sludge, and one water quality.
Default orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: one landscape irrigator, three petroleum storage tank, one public water system, and one water quality.
In addition, on April 21, the executive director approved penalties totaling $13,993 against four entities.
