Route 8 Utility Relocation Next Week in Richland Township
Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing utility relocation work on northbound Route 8 (William Flynn Highway) in Richland Township, Allegheny County will occur Monday through Friday, June 1-5 weather permitting.
Crews from the Duquesne Light Company will conduct utility pole relocation work. To allow the work to occur, a single-lane restriction will occur on northbound Route 8 between Boxwood Drive and Community Center Drive from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 950 traffic cameras.
