CLARK COUNTY, NEV. –The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is performing a fog seal upgrade to a 7-mile section of State Route 168, also known as the Glendale–Moapa Road, between Glendale Boulevard and Lewis Ranch Road in Clark County. Work will take place from 5 a.m. until 5 p.m., May 26. Maintenance crews will be working between Mile Markers 18 and 25, using flaggers and pilot cars to safely escort motorists through active construction zones. Fog sealing treats the asphalt surface and preserves its skid resistance. It’s a cost-effective maintenance solution that extends the roadway’s lifecycle, while preventing further roadway deterioration for a smoother, safer driving experience.

Motorists should use caution while travelling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but unscheduled construction changes, closures and restrictions are possible due to weather or other factors.
