SAMOA, May 14 - GOVT. PRESS SECRETARIAT; Village Fono meetings are now exempted from the State of Emergency orders approved today by le afioga I le Ao Mamalu ole Malo, Tuimalealiifano Vaaletoa Sualauvi II.

But the exemption comes with strict conditions as stated below by the approve amendment;

(1) The meetings of villages are permitted on the following conditions: (a) social distancing of 2 meters is to be observed; and (b) must not be conducted on Sundays.

The rest of the SOE is still in effect as approved into law by the powers of Article 106 of the Constitution
