Warner Reminds Voters About Amendments on Ballot
Charleston, W.Va.— Secretary of State Mac Warner would like to remind voters that sample ballots for the November 6th General Election for all 55 West Virginia counties are available online at the Secretary of State’s website.
To view your sample ballot, go to our Sample Ballots page, select your county, then scroll to find your ballot based on your precinct number. Precinct numbers are listed on voter registration cards, or may be obtained by calling your county clerk. Voters can also find their precinct number online by going to www.GoVoteWV.com and clicking “Find My Polling Place” under the Voter Quick Links section. You may also call the WV Secretary of State Elections Division at (304) 558-6000.
Warner also reminds citizens that there are two constitutional amendments on the General Election ballot. According to WV law, only the title and summary of each proposed amendment—which are created by the Legislature—are provided on the ballot. The full text of the proposed amendments are available on the Legislature’s website at the following links:
Voters who witness suspicious, inappropriate or illegal activity at the polls are asked to call the Secretary of State’s toll-free investigations hotline at (877) FRAUD-WV.
