Gazprom Neft starts making santisers

Gazprom Neft has begun producing disinfectants (sanitisers) as part of its anti-COVID-19 “Antivirus” programme, starting with an initial batch of 85,000 tonnes.* This new product, available in one-, four- and 20-litre containers, is being produced and packaged using reserve capacity at Gazpromneft-Lubricants’ facilities in the Moscow Oblast and Nizhny Novgorod. Gazprom Neft’s antiseptic products will be delivered throughout more than 50 of Russia’s regions.

The solution’s formula is as recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO), with high antibacterial properties, meaning it can be widely used both at production facilities and in medical and domestic environments. The first deliveries of Gazprom Neft antiseptics are being made free of charge to medical facilities in the Moscow, Khanty-Mansi, Yamalo-Nenets, Omsk, Orenburg and Tomsk Oblasts. They will also be used throughout Gazprom Neft enterprises.

“It’s important now not just to ensure the uninterrupted production of those petroleum products the country has to have, but also to expand production of new products in high demand during a pandemic. Thanks to the high-tech capabilities of Gazprom Neft’s businesses we have been able start producing antiseptics in the shortest possible time. The first batch of these has already been sent — free of charge — to medical facilities and government agencies in the key locations in which the company operates.”
