COMPTON, CA, UNITED STATES, July 1, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Over the last few months there have been some events that have led to the transfer of ownership of Serra Manufacturing Corporation to John B. Hernandez.

On April 2, 2019, co-founder Stephen Fitzpatrick, passed away at the age of 87. Stephen along with John B. Hernandez, Daryl Robinson and Frank Padilla founded Serra Manufacturing Corporation on December 3, 1959. Since October 17, 1978, Serra Manufacturing Corporation has had only two owners in Stephen and John. Both worked hard to grow their business into one of the most respected and successful manufacturing companies. The attention to quality and on time delivery, makes Serra a well-known manufacturer in the Aerospace industry.

Because of Stephen’s passing, his 50% ownership was purchased by John. “I look forward to continuing our legacy of producing quality parts and striving to always ship on time” said John B. Hernandez. The company leadership structure remains with John B. Hernandez as President, Kris Hernandez CEO, Roy Cerda Vice President of Operations, Marilyn Correa Accounting Manager, Kim Cerda, Quality Control Manager, Elena Cerda, Quality Engineer and head of Sales. Stepping down from the Board of Directors is Michael Fitzpatrick and will be replaced by Kris Hernandez.
