The 40 Series is ideal for high-vibration environments, and with a diameter of only .250” (6.35 mm) it delivers maximum light output in a little package.
These PMIs are designed for quick installation into display panels, enabling manufacturing efficiency. Compared to incandescent lamps, the LEDs in the 40 Series:
Eliminate maintenance costs due to long operating life
Reduce power consumption — they use 90 percent less energy
Operate at significantly cooler temperatures
To ensure ruggedized construction and enhanced reliability the 40 Series, a spring retainer clip and washer are included.
VCC’s 40 Series LEDs are available in six single colors: red, green, white, blue, amber and orange, as well as one bi-color red/green and two tri-color: red/amber/green or green/amber/red. For additional contrast and enhanced visibility, the LED is housed in a black bezel.
There are many customization options for the lenses, too: hi-hat, wide hi-hat, flush, wide flush or hi-dome. All lenses include a Fresnel pattern for excellent light output.
