A brand-new year awaits us and along with it, it offers the opportunity for reflection on what we’ve accomplished so far while looking ahead towards the future on what still needs to be done.
At Beyond Security, we measure ourselves by how well we help our customers reduce their security risks and help them mitigate their vulnerabilities. This year, we helped thousands of organizations strengthen their networks, products and applications. We’ll work harder next year to help our customers find and fix their security holes to further reduce their risks.
As the CEO and the Co-founder of Beyond Security, it has been my privilege to work with and alongside many wonderful individuals. Building a great company is hard and cannot be done without help from every single employee. Without their help, the company that I am so proud to be a part of, would not exist.
It has been a challenging year in terms of cyber security to say the least. From the Facebook breach to the massive Marriot breach, we were reminded each time how vulnerable we truly are against these unseen, nefarious hackers and cyber-criminal organizations. As more and more of our lives become computerized, new risks appear: automated cars can be remotely hijacked; health devices can be breached to risk human lives; with computers being more integrated into our lives, the risk of a security breach increases along with the need to mitigate that risk. The hackers are continuously gaining access to our innermost sanctuary, our homes. Soon even the computerized refrigerators will offer access for these nefarious characters into our homes. There are already reports of attacks on baby monitors where remote attackers can see and speak with our baby in the nursery. As scary as they may sound, there are ways we can secure ourselves and at Beyond Security, we aim to accomplish just that.
As 2018 draws to a close, I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for being a part of Beyond Security. I am extremely proud of our employees who work diligently so that our clients can protect themselves from the danger of security threats. I am also grateful to our customers who have given us their continued trust in our line of security products and services.
We have quite a few exciting things planned for 2019, which I’m quite excited about. Stay tuned as we continue to expand our scope and our product offerings in our continuous effort to meet the requirements of our customers.
