8th LARGEST U.S. CHARITY ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT FOR TAMPA BAY OFFICE

NATIONAL CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION (NCF) TAMPA BAY PROMOTES RELATIONSHIP MANAGER AND VETERAN MARINE, ANDREW PRILLIMAN, TO LOCAL AFFILIATE OFFICE PRESIDENT

NCF is known for offering some of the most advanced charitable gift planning solutions and expertise in the country. If we can encourage our community to embrace generosity, we can transform our city.”
— Andrew Prilliman, President & CEO of NCF
TAMPA, FL, USA, December 4, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The National Christian Foundation (NCF) Tampa Bay has promoted Executive Vice President, Andrew Prilliman, to President and CEO of the Tampa Bay affiliate office. Mr. Prilliman will continue to serve local families and business owners in implementing innovative, tax efficient gifting solutions in addition to overseeing the organization’s operations in accordance with the vision and mission of NCF’s National headquarters in Atlanta.

Mr. Prilliman says, “While NCF is known for offering some of the most advanced charitable gift planning solutions and expertise in the country (the “HOW” of giving), our real passion is serving our givers and partners in the “WHY” of giving. Why do you give? What are your passions? What organizations are you considering supporting through NCF and WHY? If we can encourage families and business owners in our local communities to embrace generosity, we can transform our cities and the world. I’ve yet to meet an unhappy generous person!”

Prilliman joined NCF Tampa Bay in 2009 and over those 9 years the non-profit has grown from a small community foundation, facilitating around $3.5 Million in annual contributions to an organization that will facilitate over $60 Million in giving in 2018 to impact charitable causes. The local office has surpassed $400 Million in cumulative giving in the Tampa market since their inception in 2005 and is expected to hit $500 Million within the next year. A large portion of this giving has come from gifts of appreciated non-liquid assets – NCF’s expertise.

On a national level NCF has granted out over $10 Billion to charity, has facilitated over $13 Billion in gifts from givers and has supported over 55,000 charities.

Bob Collins, former NCF Tampa Bay President, and current Chief Strategy Officer at the NCF National Office says, “Andrew has excelled as a senior leader of the NCF Tampa Bay team for almost 10 years. We are confident that he will accelerate NCF’s growth and boost the impact of innumerable charities in the Tampa Bay area.”

BACKGROUND

Andrew Prilliman grew up in Zephyrhills, a small town just outside of Tampa, FL. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps out of high school and graduated from Parris Island Boot Camp as his unit’s Honor Graduate. In 2003, Andrew was in a turret behind a .50cal machine gun as part of the initial invasion into Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His unit was awarded a Presidential Unit Citation (PUC) for “extraordinary heroism and outstanding performance in action against enemy forces in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.” He was honorably discharged as a Platoon Sergeant.

While in the Marine Corps, Andrew earned a degree from the University of South Florida’s College of Business and went to work as an M&A advisor in the Tampa Bay area. His background in facilitating M&A transactions and working with business owners made for a great transition into his next roll as a Relationship Manager with the NCF Tampa Bay where he has worked with local families to simplify their giving and maximize the impact of their gifts to charity.

In 2012 Andrew launched NCF Outdoors, an initiative designed to strengthen relationships with existing NCF givers, develop new relationships with future givers and inspire and encourage individuals to challenge themselves in the area of giving through unforgettable outdoor experiences in God’s creation.

Andrew has helped start and operate several businesses, was a partner in a private equity group, serves on multiple non-profit boards, participates regularly in foreign mission work and is most proud of being a husband and father to his wife Ryann and son Colt.
