The Honorable Joseph Osei Owusu, First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Ghana visits Chicago.

CHICAGO, IL, UNITED STATES, September 26, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- On September, the 5th, Dillard & King, (DK) a prestigious and internationally known, Chicago and Washington DC-based professional services firm, hosted Joseph Osei Owusu, the First Deputy Speaker of the parliament of Ghana. The day began with a breakfast meeting held at the luxurious Drake Hotel. Among the guest in attendance was Joan Sullivan CEO of Kingdom Records and Lester McCarroll, Jr, Managing Director of GP Ventures and of the Mid-South Business Association.

Breakfast was followed by several business office visits, capped off by a visit to United State Senator Dick Durbin’s office.

Later in the day, the Ghanaian Delegation lunched at the Cliff Dweller’s club, one of Chicago’s premier private clubs. The lunch was hosted by Club member-and the Club’s former president- Brian Bernardoni, Senior Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy for the Chicago Association of Realtors. Among the close to 20 business and political movers and shakers at the lunch were Darrell Williams, Managing Partner of Loop Capital, a premier Private Equity firm; Michael Sutton, president and CEO of Infrastructure Engineering, one of Illinois’ largest minority-owned engineering firms; Shakira Motan Trade Consul from the South African consulate office in Chicago; Maria Castro Regional External affairs manager for Comcast; Former State Representative the Honorable David Miller, Henry Butler, President of Cleveland business development firm LCR Enterprises, and well-known political strategist, Tiffany Hightower.
As a result of this visit, future engagements, including a business junket from Chicago to Ghana, are being planned with the Ghanaians.
