Oxxiom consists of the Oxxiom pulse oximeter and the Oxxiom App for iOS devices, available at the App Store. Oxxiom is continuous, wireless, and easy to operate, allowing fitness enthusiasts, athletes and aviators to monitor their oxygen saturation, pulse rate, and perfusion index levels in order to improve their performance. Oxxiom also offers voice based measurements every 30, 60, 90 or 120 seconds, and storage of measurements trends up to 12, 24, 36 or 48 hours. The device is very different from the pulse oximeters currently in the market, since it is very small and lightweight (3.5 g, 0.12 oz), becoming practically imperceptible after a few minutes of use. Oxxiom can be applied on the forehead, and kept in place with a headband, adhesive tape or hat. It can also be placed behind the ear (posterior auricle), or on the fingertip, supported by a self-adhering breathable tape.

Oxxiom is the only wireless pulse oximeter for sports and aviation that is small enough to allow users to wear the device for long periods, and have real-time access to continuous, uninterrupted measurements of oxygen saturation, heart rate, perfusion index, and waveforms. Typically, a healthy person will have less than 5 or so desaturations per hour with amplitude greater than 4%, and will stay for a very small time percentage with oxygen saturation less than 90%. These values may change (increase) during exercise, or in situations of high stress, or in high altitude places. Increasing pulse rate volatility trends and decreasing perfusion index log-volatility trends are beneficial, and an indication of positive adaptation and/or increase in fitness, making Oxxiom for Sports and Aviation the perfect solution for those who wish to expand their limits.
