Funcom is Hiring, Hosting Giveaways and Showcasing Games at East Coast Game Conference 2018

RALEIGH, NC, USA, April 12, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- To celebrate 25 years of game development Funcom is proud to support and participate in the East Coast Game Conference, held in Raleigh, NC April 17 - 19. They will be showcasing exciting new titles to engaging gamers and developers alike. In addition the studio is recruiting talent for upcoming projects.

Poised for the impending release of Conan Exiles, the open-world survival game set in Robert E. Howard’s brutal Conan the Barbarian universe, Funcom is featuring the playable Xbox One X version of the game with its new combat system for conference. Attendees also get a chance at free access keys for both the PC and Xbox version of the game. The studio is giving away Conan Exiles, t-shirts and comic books, illustrated and published by Dark Horse Comics.

Paxton Galvanek and Funcom’s 3D Artist Christopher LaPrade are guest presenters at the conference. Funcom can be found at booths 84 and 90 on the expo floor. Additionally, in effort to recruit talent for an unannounced online cooperative action game, the studio is conducting interviews and portfolio reviews.

Watch for the post-apocalyptic tactical adventure game Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, trailer developed by Sweden-based Bearded Ladies and published by Funcom.
