LTEN Unveils New Vision, Mission & Value Statements
ROANOKE, VA, UNITED STATES, November 29, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- November 27, 2017, Roanoke, VA -- LTEN has released new updated Vision, Mission and Value Statements to help guide the membership network forward and ensure it continues to serve members and evolve with the life sciences industry training industry. The new guiding statements are effective immediately.

With an emphasis on the future and an eye on technological advancements, the new Statements also address issues such as evolving healthcare markets and the increased globalization of healthcare companies. Core principles like networking, sharing solutions and organizing members around common challenges in communities of practice are emphasized. A key emphasis is the unique position that LTEN occupies being the only resource dedicated to life sciences.
The Vision, Mission and Value Statements were updated and expanded as the result of a review ordered by the LTEN Board of Directors. Board member Norma Piggott of Amgen chaired a subcommittee tasked with drafting the updates. Other Board members serving on the subcommittee were David Fortanbary of UCB, Evelyn Nichols of Informa and Chuck Pearson of Astellas, as well as Dawn Brehm, LTEN executive director.
