Middle River Regional Jail is a secure adult detention facility that operates under the Virginia

Department of Corrections Minimum Standards for Jails and Lockups. Built in 2006 on a 28-acre site, the facility has a 902 bed capacity and is approximately 212,020 square feet. Staff at Middle River Regional Jail reached out to DigitalPhone.io after an unexpected failure to one of its uninterrupted power supplies. This significantly diminished system capacity (note: no inmate-related services at any time were impacted or at risk), and increased the risk of a total failure.
