NEW YORK, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, May 29, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- On the occasion of Africa Day commemoration at the Manhattan Center on Thursday, H.E. Salomón Nfa Ndong, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation shared the country's message - Sustainable Peace for Sustainable Development as they pursue a seat on the United Nations Security Council as a Non Permanent representative for the term 2018-2019. The vote is set for June 2, 2017.

With deep humility, H.E. Salomón Nfa Ndong conveyed that Sustainable Peace for Sustainable Development is directly proportional to the ambitions with which the Government has been working with its population in particular. Equatorial Guinea is arriving in a foreign setting with humanitarian actions in favor of peace, such as support for the cause of the fight against Ebola which affected brother countries such as Liberia, Guinea Conakry, and Sierra Leone; together with the organization of high-level events in order to promote peace at a sub-regional and global level.

In closing remarks, H.E. Salomón Nfa Ndong said, vote for Equatorial Guinea, vote for Cote d'Ivoire. Equatorial Guinea was represented by H.E. Anatolio Ndong Mba, the Ambassador Permanent Representative before the United Nations, H.E. Victoriana Mbasogo Mangue, Deputy Ambassador along with a high-level delegation traveling with Nfa Ndong.
