When asked about development in the field of RNA therapeutics he said:

What is most amazing is the huge number of disease applications we see being worked on!”

In RNAi approaches, the silencing effect on the target and/or other associated biomarkers can be looked at in the same specific and sensitive manner. This works smoothly across all pre-clinical animal models and beyond. In this sense RNAscope can facilitate the optimization of delivery methods, which is an on-going challenge in the field.”
