Julia Neiman is a youth entrepreneur empowerment coach and founder of the Monetize Your Passion Academy, where she trains coaches, life skills professionals and teachers how to teach youths to start their own businesses. The academy offers a blueprint for empowering young people to take responsibility for their own economic well-being by leveraging their passions to create their dream life.

“Many of these kids don’t even know how to dream,” says Julia. “I’ve always been a dreamer and I recognize the power and potential of dreams. I’m trying to encourage these kids to embrace their aspirations and take action to make their dreams come true. Can you imagine what a better life this would be if people were really doing what they loved?”

Julia founded the academy following a 20 year career as a social worker in the foster care section. While teaching financial literacy one day, Julia realized no one had taught her any of this information when she was growing up either. As a result, she’d developed some strong limited beliefs around money. So she started to do the necessary inner work to better help her clients.

“Being an entrepreneur is about a mindset,” says Julia. “The purpose of the training is to make life better for kids in care, but these fundamental lessons apply to anyone. It’s about the way entrepreneurs function in terms of setting goals and managing their time.”

“We need to teach kids wealth creation,” says Julia. “You are not getting rich working for someone else. Having your own business is the only way to create wealth. When you work for yourself and you take responsibility for your own life, there are no limits.”
