HM King Mohammed VI arrived on Monday in Conakry for an official visit in the Republic of Guinea, third leg of an African tour that took the sovereign to Mali, Côte d’Ivoire and will take him to Gabon.

Upon his arrival at the Conakry-Gbessia airport, HM the King was greeted by Guinean President, Alpha Condé.

In the early evening, the King held talks at the Palais des Nations with Guinean President.

After this meeting, the two Heads of State chaired the signing ceremony of 21 bilateral agreements in different areas of cooperation between the two brotherly countries. The main Agreements concluded were as follows:

- an agreement on avoiding double taxation and prevention against fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income,

- a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Guinea and the Ministry of Agriculture and maritime Fishing and the Phosphates Office (OCP),

- an agreement between the Republic of Guinea and Addoha group for the building of economic housing,

- an agreement between the two countries in the field of vocational training,

- a memorandum of understanding on the functioning and development of the Higher Institute of Commerce and business Administration in Guinea,

- a memorandum of understanding on cooperation industrial zones, and

- an agreement protocol of cooperation between the National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mining (ONHYM) and Guinean society for Mining Heritage (SOGUIPAMI).
