IT Governance welcomes forthcoming COBIT 5 Implementation and Assessor qualifications
ELY, UK, June 18, 2013 /EINPresswire.com/ -- IT Governance, the global leader in IT governance, risk management and compliance expertise, welcomes ISACA’s recent launch of new syllabuses for COBIT 5 Implementation and Assessor qualifications.
COBIT 5 is ISACA’s globally recognised Framework for developing governance and management of enterprise IT to increase the trust in, and value from, information systems. The new Implementation and Assessor qualifications will offer holders of the COBIT 5 Foundation certificate the opportunity to further develop their COBIT 5 expertise.
Since the introduction of the COBIT 5 Foundation certificate in 2012, IT Governance has trained over 90 delegates at foundation level. Their interest and enthusiasm indicates that the new qualifications will be very well received.
Dr Geoff Harmer, an ISACA approved COBIT 5 trainer reflects on the growing interest the COBIT 5 framework: “All delegates attending the IT Governance Ltd COBIT 5 Foundation course have been highly motivated, experienced professionals, keen to develop their ability to fully understand Governance of Enterprise IT (GEIT) and the content of COBIT 5.
Interest in COBIT 5 is growing rapidly, from a whole range of well-known organisations and from many countries. In addition to UK-based delegates, I’ve taught professionals from countries across Europe and the Middle East on this course.”
Dr Geoff Harmer shares further thoughts on the response to the new COBIT 5 Framework on the IT Governance Blog here: http://blog.itgovernance.co.uk/cobit-5-a-year-on-dr-geoff-harmer-reflects/.
The next COBIT 5 Foundation Course will be held in London on 15-16 July 2013. Further details are available at: www.itgovernance.co.uk/shop/p-479.aspx.
IT Governance is currently developing new courses for the COBIT 5 Implementation and COBIT 5 Assessor qualifications, which will be launched later this year.* It is possible to register an interest in these forthcoming courses at: COBIT 5 Implementation or COBIT 5 Assessor.
*Subject to ISACA/APMG approval.
