Missguided’s March Spring/Summer campaign shot in an eclectic house in North London captures the fashion forward, diverse vibe of the all new collection. Monochrome styled with bursts of colour mixes with acid wash denims, forever ombres and leather / mesh combos to offer just a taste of what’s to be expected this season.
The new campaign shows the juxtaposition of a sizzling hot Brazilian model in a fierce tiger bodysuit laid against a vintage floral rug in a quaint bedroom – fusing the ordinary with the extra-ordinary. The unexpected glimpse of two girls running around this grand house, hand in hand, wearing oversized slogan t-shirts and leather accessories – undoubtedly up to no good and an achingly cool Australian model lying with her heavy black leather boots on the pristine chesterfields – a nod to the attitude and laid back vibes of a Missguided girl.
Mid-way through the shoot, one model spontaneously picked up a guitar and started playing some familiar riffs from memory, wearing a top that boasts the word ‘Swag’ – which is an understatement, if anything, of what these girls naturally posses.
A female photographer, who having recently shot Rihanna & Rita Ora, embodied the ultimate in girl power and captured the models personalities snaps everything perfectly as they caused the utmost mischief exploring the house wearing the new trends.
