The Sentinel, is the monthly newspaper of the Archdiocese of Portland, founded 9 years ago, thanks to the effort of Oregon Catholic Press and the legacy of the Catholic Sentinel, a newspaper that has informed the Catholic community of the western states for more than 100 years United. The Sentinel has won the recognition of the Catholic Press Association of the United States, for its journalistic quality in Spanish, a fact that projects it as a leading means of communication in this part of the country.
