The Lee County Courier was born Oct. 14, 1992, in Tupelo, Mississippi. It was started by the husband and wife team of Jim and Linda Clark who had previously worked a number of years for The Itawamba County Times in the neighboring town of Fulton, Mississippi. Jim is publisher while Linda serves as managing editor.
