The Nichi Bei Times (日米タイムズ Nichi Bei Taimuzu) was a Japanese American newspaper headquartered in San Francisco.[1] As of 2009 it was the oldest Japanese American newspaper in Northern California. Historically the Nichi Bei Times was a daily bilingual English-Japanese newspaper, while from 2006 to 2009 it was published four times weekly, with Japanese editions on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and English editions on Thursdays. The paper was disestablished effective September 30, 2009.[2] Despite the closure of the printed newspaper Nichi Bei Foundation continues to publish news digitally on its website.
