Accent Technologies is pleased to announce its recent hire of Karen Gardner, who will join the Accent team as Senior Content Editor and Relationship Manager. Within these roles, Gardner will be responsible for content sourcing, assisting clients in developing content strategies and recommending best practices to support each firm’s communication strategy. This includes building strong relationships with leading content providers in the financial industry.

Gardner comes to Accent with over 14 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, Gardner worked as a Vice President, Marketing Manager for SunTrust Banks, Inc. There, she was responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to create and manage marketing strategies, content, brand management and compliance standards. In addition, Gardner Served as Relationship Manager with vendors during and post-production, including taking the lead of project manager for the implementation of Accent Librarian within the Institutional group. Her industry expertise and knowledge of Accent’s Librarian and eCommunicator solutions has helped Gardner to make an easy transition into her current position with Accent.

In addition to her knowledge in the financial services industry, Gardner has extensive experience conducting market research to identify industry trends. She also served as RFP team leader within SunTrust, demonstrating strong writing and editing skills.
