2026 Census Collection Due October 15th

Public Districts

The School District Census Report 2026 opened in the NDE Legacy Portal (http://portal.education.ne.gov/) on September 1. The Census Report collects the number of children ages 5‐18 living within your district’s boundaries as of June 30. Submissions are due October 15, 2026.

Reminder: Districts must upload their supporting documentation as a single PDF document. Instructions for completing the Census Report are available at https://www.education.ne.gov/fos/census-report-instructions/
