Hato Rey - To help more families secure their own homes—particularly in cases where the lots they occupy required the removal of legal restrictive conditions or the sale of Department of Housing land or properties—the Department of Housing’s Property Acquisition and Sales Secretariat, led by Assistant Secretary Michelle Díaz Navedo, has successfully finalized several signatures and a property sale. This initiative aligns with the public policy established by Governor Jenniffer González Colón and Secretary of Housing Luis Augusto Martínez Román, providing more families with access to homeownership.

On this occasion, 7 deeds were signed to remove restrictive conditions in the municipalities of Bayamón, Barceloneta, Cidra, Manatí, Mayagüez, and San Juan. The photos capture the moment the families' attorneys signed the new deeds.
