8-19-26 Planning Commission Meeting
The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026, at the Alachua County Administration Building (12 SE 1st St., Gainesville). This meeting begins at 6 p.m.
The committee will take public comments in person only. The meeting can be viewed on Cox Channel 12, the AC TV app (Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku), or the county’s video-on-demand website.

Z26-000011: LaCrosse PWSF – This is a request by Joel Rosseau of NexTower Development Group II, LLC and Holtzman Vogel Law Firm, agents, T-Mobile South, LLC, applicant and James Lowell Parrish, owner, for a Special Use Permit to allow a 199ft. Tier 3 Personal Wireless Services Facility (PWSF). The site is located in the Agriculture zoning district and has a future land use designation of Rural/Agriculture. The site is a 0.15-acre portion of parcel 05877-000-000, located at 13325 N. State Road 121.

Z26-000010: Alachua County Weseman/EcoLoop Major Planned Development Amendment – This is a request by Alachua County (owner and agent) for a major amendment to the Weseman/EcoLoop Planned Development (PD) district. The property is located in the 5100 block of NE 63rd Avenue along Waldo Road on parcels 07872-003-003, 07872-003-005, 07872-003-006 and 07872-003-009. It is approximately 260 acres and has a Heavy Industrial land-use designation. The application, if approved, will amend the permitted uses on the site to include those normally permitted in the MS and MP zoning districts.
