Property Tax Bills Mailed Aug. 14, Multiple Payment Options Available

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. Cumberland County Tax Administration mailed 2026 property tax bills on Aug. 14, 2026. The payment deadline is Jan. 5, 2027. Beginning Jan. 6, 2027, unpaid balances will incur 2% interest for the first month, then 0.75% each month thereafter.

 

As a reminder, taxpayers who opted for eNotices previously will not receive a mailed bill. Instead, they will receive an electronic bill.

 

Multiple Payment Options for Your Convenience

 

  • MyCCNCPay (Website & Mobile App): Use the secure MyCCNCPay platform to pay online. The platform allows property owners to pay via electronic check, debit or credit card; register to schedule payments; set reminders; track payment history; and pay in installments or prepay taxes. Taxpayers may download the MyCCNCPay app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for on-the-go access. Fees apply.

     

  • By Phone: Taxpayers can call 910‑557‑7935 to pay by debit or credit card. Fees apply.

  • By Mail: Taxpayers can mail a check or money order (no cash):

    • Using the remittance coupon to Cumberland County Tax Collector, P.O. Box 538313, Atlanta, GA 30353‑8313

    • Or without the coupon to Cumberland County Tax Collector, P.O. Box 449, Fayetteville, NC 28302‑0449

  • Online Bank Bill Pay: Taxpayers may use their bank bill-pay, ensuring the bank has the current tax bill number.

  • Secure Drop Box: This option only accepts checks or money orders. Payment may be placed in the secure drop box located behind the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Courthouse (at the intersection of Cool Spring & Russell streets).

  • In Person: Taxpayers can visit the Tax Administration Office on the fifth floor of the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse, located at 117 Dick St., Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Cash, check, money order and cards (fees apply) are accepted.

  • Payment Plan: Included in the property tax bill is a form to request monthly payments. Taxpayers may submit the form, along with a first payment, to Cumberland County Tax Collector, P.O. Box 449, Fayetteville, NC 28302.
