AN ACT
Designating the interchange of Interstate 81 with State Route
4007, known as Exit 119, on the border of Cass Township and
Butler Township, Schuylkill County, as the PSP Trooper
Michael E. Pahira, Jr. Memorial Interchange.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. PSP Trooper Michael E. Pahira, Jr. Memorial
Interchange.
(a) Findings.--The General Assembly finds and declares as
follows:
(1) Michael E. Pahira, Jr., was born February 10, 1982,
in Ashland, Schuylkill County.
(2) Trooper Pahira graduated from North Schuylkill High
School in 2001 where he excelled in both the classroom and
athletics, securing a district championship in wrestling.
(3) Trooper Pahira earned a bachelor's degree from East
Stroudsburg University.
